Running away: sketch
Sad lonely women running away from their fathers, brothers, husbands and sons. I dont know where they will escape to. Do they have any place of solace in this planet?
Roadside:sketch
Quick sketch done when i was in a train. All the three characters were actually miles apart. I sketched them when either the train slowed down at some crossing or stopped at some station. But somehow I liked the final composition. Here, a point I should point out is that composing a group was something which I never tried consciously. I think i should do some exercise on this.

Little monster playing with a cockerel: Sketch
This was live sketch of my son adarsh playing while my moms pet cockerel was bold enough to come near. As usual my crazy imagination took hold of me and the sketch came out like this. But I love this sketch and I will paint this asap.
Later when I want to give a title to this sketch I was struck by the correlation that my fav writer V.K.N in his writings calls kids monsters. Hence the name.
So after all, one amoung the several reason for my crazy imagination is mister V.K.N.

Mergirl with wings
Where I work, we were doing a project on 'the little mermaid'. The project have been goining on for some time and finally ended couple of weeks back. In my dreams the mermaid got dragonfly wings.
In malayalam we call dragonfly 'thumbi'. This is one animal that is made for flight.
Inbetween: Sketch
This is a common vision I used to have a year back. An enlightened and weightless being on one side and a brooding, sad one on the other side, with a coconut sapling in the middle.
The crayon filling was tried by one of my kids :)
